Garnish is a brand new web series highlighting culture, causes and commerce in the D.C. metropolitan area and Baltimore, that often exists on the fringes of mainstream media. Though much more is written about what is happening in the area, there is still a lot that remains hidden. Garnish will feature candid interviews, event footage and analysis from the perspectives of creatives, entrepreneurs and big thinkers on the ground.

The first episode isĀ  a recap of Excursions, a multi-sensory jam session hosted by Jamal Gray, co-founder of Nag Champa Arts Collective, member of CMPTVR CLVB and programmer at WPFW, to raise funds for the financially struggling radio station, which is a landmark of jazz and independent music in D.C
