D.C.’s Dreamcast celebrated his first vinyl release at The Black Cat, a show which felt more like a family reunion than the average concert. Backed by Champion Sound Band, he performed a number of songs from his catalogue, which includes latest mixtape, and longest project to date, D R E A M C A S T Vol. 03.

Dreamcast invited a number of friends and collaborators to share the stage with him including Nappy Nappa, Afro Velvet, Alison Carney, Sir E.U. After his set, he shared daps and hugs with almost the entire room, before heading to the merch area in the back to sign copies of  “Liquid Deep.” The SASAC-produced single out on People’s Potential Unlimited, is a syrupy throwback to the future, perfect for late nights or long drives.

Catch Dreamcast and a slew of other great bands at Otherfeels on Thursday, March. 9th.
